From the Midlands

Take the M54 west towards Telford.  As the motorway becomes the A5, follow this road beyond Shrewsbury and into North Wales.  Pass through Llangollen and Betws-y-Coed until you reach Capel Curig where you turn left onto the A4086.  A few miles further on, take the left fork onto the A498 sign posted Beddgelert and Porthmadog.  As you come to the end of the mountain road, Llyn Gwynant is on your right and shortly afterwards you will see a row of cottages on your left.  Bryn Afon is in the middle of these.  Parking is available also on teh left, immediately before the row of cottages.

From the North West

Take the A55 into North Wales.  At the junction with the A5 head south through Bethesda until you reach Capel Curig.  Turn right onto the A4086.  A few miles further on, take the left fork onto the A498 sign posted Beddgelert and Porthmadog.  As you come to the end of the mountain road, Llyn Gwynant is on your right and shortly afterwards you will see a row of cottages on your left.  Bryn Afon is in the middle of these.  Parking is available also on the left, immediately before the row of cottages.
